Sabine Vogel studied jazz flute at the Bruckner-Conservatory in Linz, Austria. During the last couple of years, she has worked on developing a specific sound and technique that concentrates on the use of electronic manipulations, as well as with many extended physical techniques. She plays a lot as a solo artist, as well as with Phono_phono, Schwimmer, Ensemble Zwischentöne, Walter Thompson Orchestra, and the Anthony Braxton 12tet.
